Ben Lamb won the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha championship tournament last night. He beat Sami Kelopuro in the heads-up with a 60%/40% suckout in the concluding hand to win over $800K and the bracelet. As he booked the win, he also moved in the WSOP POY lead.

The WSOP 2010 Player of The Year race is finally over. The winner was Frank Kassela who managed to win two bracelets and five cashes in this year’s WSOP. His victory didn’t come easy though as John Juanda was a tough opponent candidate for the Player of The Year.

The WSOP Tournament of Champions started yesterday, and already five big names - including among others Phil Ivey - have been eliminated. At the moment the leaderboard consists of Erik Seidel, Johnny Chan and Mike Matusow. The tournament will continue today and later on July 4th.
