It has been a long and tiresome job for the nine Main Event finalists to grind their way to the final table. It’s Martin Staszko (Czech) who holds the chiplead when the final is being played.

Martin Staszko
John Hewitt was this year’s bubbelboy. Although he earned $607,882 from the 10th place, it still might be a bit harsh to realize how close he was to get into the November Nine. Hewitt lost the last hand in a coinflip with 3-3 while O’Dea held K-J and O’Dea cought a broadway straight.
Also Ben Lamb is in the November Nine. Lamd is currently leading the WSOP Player of the Year competition.
