Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies has had a rough year. He has been in a terrible downswing and has been tilting quite a lot. Yesterday brought a fresh breeze as he managed to win quite nicely.

Ilari was grinding some heads-up at Full Tilt in Tuesday and he managed to win about $53K from NL Hold’em. PLO heads-up ($50/$100 - $100/$200 blinds) was his choice yesterday. He also had a brief $300/$600 HU PLO match against Gus Hansen, which lasted for only 3 hands.
Sahamies played 852 hands during Wednesday and he won $155K, which is nice. Most of his winnings came from the pockets of Ben “Sauce1234″ Sulsky, who lost $81K in one of Ilari’s heads-up tables. Sulsky’s overall losses for the day were only $35K, so he won some of it back.
Even though Ilari’s year has been really tough, he still shows some discipline in his game when he wants to and looks like Ilari’s heads-up skills are still intact.
