SuperStar Showdown III: Viktor “Isildur1″ Blom beats Daniel “jungleman12″ Cates and wins $52K

Viktor “Isildur1″ Blom played his third SuperStar Showdown last night. His opponent was Daniel “jungleman12″ Cates (uses the nickname “w00ki3z” on PokerStars) and “Isildur1″ managed to beat him.
Blom and Cates played 2500 hands at four $50/$100 NLHE Heads-up tables
Cates was leading throughout the match, but Blom gained some momentum in the end and in 500 hands he grinded himself up and won almost $52,000.

Blom has now won two of his three SuperStar Showdowns. His total winnings from the three matches are about $56K. Poker-King.com suggests that Daniel Negreanu could be his next opponent, let’s hope so.
