Dwan, Lederer and Matusow are betting wildly on $1,5k Stud Hi-Lo

The WSOP $1,5k Stud Hi-Lo has really inspired many well-known players who seem to be prop betting about one thing or another…

-Matusow concentrates on prop betting.

According to Pokerlistings.com Howard Lederer, Daniel Negreanu, Mike Matusow and David Williams are all sitting at the same table where suggestions on different prop bets keep going on. Mike Sexton, Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey who are sitting near these guys have also taken part in this prop betting mania.  

Dwan gave Lederer 200:1 odds for Lederer’s tournament victory. The stake was set as $1,000, and besides Lederer tossed Dwan the $1,000 chip he found from his pocket. Matusow, in turn, bet Lederer $10,000 that Phil Ivey won’t make it to any of the final tables in this tournament which has been a target for massive prop betting.

After Mike Sexton heard about all this, he marched to Matusow and claimed for his own part of the action. It didn’t take a lot to persuade “The Mouth”, so now Matusow has two separate $10k bets against Ivey’s success.

Lederer revealed everyone how none of those 88 players he picked in “Fantasy Draft” has succeeded in winning the bracelet in this year’s WSOP. Needless to say, bets were also made on the upcoming tournament success of these 88 ones picked by Lederer’s. Negreanu believes that at least two bracelets will be won by these 88 players while Matusow is sure their maximum catch will be one bracelet or less. That was already Matusow’s third $10,000 prop bet within only one hour.
