Chicago has a very colorful history, and many think first of Al Capone and other mafia members. In those times using the guns was pretty normal. Unfortunately the same practice turned out to be fatal for 51-year-old Patricia Clark.

Pokerati reports about a case where a 51-year-old woman went to a home poker session to collect a 300 dollar debt from a friend of years ago. The other players at the table persuaded Clark to sit down for a while and to join the game. A few hours later Clark drifted to all-in situation between for players and eventually won the whole $800 pot.
One of the players couldn’t accept this but accused Clark of cheating. Clark denied those accusations and insisted to keep the pot she just had won. According to Sun Times the other player went to the bedroom and returned with a gun. Clark, who got four hits, died of her injuries later in the hospital. The shooter can expect a charge of murder.
Clark’s husband told to Sun Times that his wife was a skilled card player and therefore had no reason to cheat other players.
