David Williams wins WPT Championships

Second place finisher of WSOP 2004 Main Event, David Williams won the really tough WPT Championships. Williams has been three times on the WPT final before and he has won one WSOP bracelet. Williams won 1,5 million dollars from his first major tournament victory.
Williams managed to win last year’s best live tournament player, Eric Baldwin in the heads-up. In the last hand Baldwin goes all-in and Williams pays. Williams had 22 and Baldwin A5s. Flop came A76 and it looked like Baldwin would double up.
Turn was 2, which broke Baldwin’s double up dreams and Williams and his family began the celebration. Williams has now won almost 7,9 million dollars from live tournaments.
