Annie Duke Poker Tutor will spread like a wildfire across the bit universe. This free iPhone application includes tip of the day, Hold’em probability calculator and poker vocabulary.

Duke told to Pokernewsdaily how the idea of this program came out. “Joe Reitman’s fellow student started out a business designing iPhone applications. Talking with them revealed that they wanted to make a poker game. However, there had already been few poker applications, and playing poker through iPhone is not real poker. But there was hardly any application teaching the game, so we decided it’s a high time to do something for that.”
Tip of the Day is not just a cliche-laden sentence. Instead “oneliner” Duke gives real tips for improving one’s game. So far the probability calculator can handle only two Hold’em hands against each other, but new updates will expand the support first to 9-handed game and later to Omaha.
The application is obviously directed to beginner pokerists. After a quick view it’s quite hard to see if the application can offer anything new to someone who has played for a year and made use of poker books and educational videos in improving his/her game.
