The winner of WSOP 2000 Tournament and one of the Full Tilt Poker owners, Chris Ferguson, will start in film business. According to Deadline.com Ferguson has invested in a brand new film industry enterprise called RCR Pictures.

The next movie mogul, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson?
The company is led by Producer Robin Schorr who says the initial capital and five-year financing are well amassed. The biggest individual financiers are Ferguson and another Full Tilt owner Ray Bitar.
Schorr reveals that despite Ferguson’s and Bitar’s whizz for movies it took one and half years to persuade them. Wonder if the forename initials of these gentlemen are behind the company’s name?
RCR Pictures strives to find good manuscripts and make movies on the basis of them as well as take care of their distribution agreements. The first production of the company will be the re-filming of Steve McQueen western “Nevada Smith” made in 1966
Schorr aims at rallying 15 different film projects before the end of this year. One of these films shall be about poker.
