Now there’s a new online poker scandal. This time it’s about a hand on Cake Poker where the worse hand won.

Ace high flush loses to king high flush
According to the nickname “Demonic”, who started a topic on 2+2 forums, the hand was played at the $0.02/$0.04 NL Hold’em table on Cake. Players went all-in pre-flop showing AQ and KK. The board ran 4c 4h 8h 6h 9h, with four hearts the AQ player should have won with his ace high flush. There was some glitch in the system and the pot was won by the K high flush player.

The thread was just started on 2+2 when the well respected Cake Poker Cardroom Managed Lee Jones hopped in:
“Hi folks -
Unfortunately, at the moment, this appears to be real. What’s bizarre is how it happened this one time out of the tens of millions of hands we’ve dealt. Needless to say, our software people have dropped everything else to track this down. I’ll update you as soon as we understand what happened.
Best regards,
Lee Jones”
You can follow the thread here. The conversation is really wild at the moment.
