Gus Hansen has a strong start for February

Gus Hansen has been doing something right as he won $1,7 million in January and is having a great start for February as well. He started the February’s grind in 7-game against David Oppenheim, Patrik Antonius and Ilari Sahamies.

Hansen’s session started with heads up with David Oppenheim where he quickly raised his stack to over $100k. “The Great Dane” was doing great in heads up and shortly after the heads up match started, the two Finns joined the game. Like usually, Hansen was quite dominant in Hi/Lo games and ended his session with a $170k stack. Sahamies and Antonius continued to play heads up, but Antonius had enough really quickly as he was losing yet again.

Sahamies had a really short session as after Hansen quit the $300/$600 PLO table also “Urindanger” and “POKERBLUFFS” left it. Sahamies ended up winning $40k after he played only about 60 hands.
