Already the 13th FTOPS just started at Full Tilt Poker. There’s total of 19 million dollars in guarantees and it will run until August 16th when the Main Event starts.

Unlike in FTOPS XII, MiniFTOPS will not run at the same time, instead the MiniFTOPS events will be held between September 9th and 20th. The MiniFTOPS Main Event has a $55 buy-in and $500.000 guaranteed prize pool.
The FTOPS XII Main Event was won by Pocketownage who beat almost 4600 players to a $432.000 payday.
The biggest change this year is the Ante up for Africa charity poker tournament. This event will raise funds for the crisis in Darfur. It will take place on Saturday, August 15th. The tournament has a $120 buy-in and $20 is donated to charity and it has a $100.000 guaranteed prize pool.
One of the more interesting tournaments has always been the Two-day Event. This year’s Two-day tournament is Event #22. It has a $2620 buy-in and at least a $2 million prize pool. The tournament is Once again in a six-max format and the first day pauses after level 17 or when there’s two tables left. Everyone starts with 300 big blinds and the levels go up in every 30 minutes.
