Phil Hellmuth among a few others made a real sideshow in the day 2 of $2000 Limit hold’em event.

107 players returned to play, among them Phill Hellmuth and Mike Thorpe. Thorpe seems to have assumed a role of a younger Hellmuth as from the moment cards started coming first phrases of verbal abuse were traded in between the two players.
As some players were eliminated, Hellmuth and Thorpe were separated. Nonetheless the same kind of behaviour continued.
“I gotta go pee”
Immeadiately after changing table Thorpe announced to the others that he had a forthcoming need to go to the bathroom. Players of the table stood unamused, and Brian Cospolich pointed out that:
“We dont’t want to hear about your bodily functions.”
Second time the same need arose he asked his tablemates to take time on him, but none showed interest.
Thorpe Outperformed by Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth didn’t let the young gun play on his field, but decided to take the stage instead. At his new table he started to throw words around, but when Alex Keating gave some back he immediately called the floor.
Hellmuth couldn’t tolerate Keatings proposition, if he would like to play No Limit heads-up Hold’em against him and lost his temper when the youngster asked if he could try on one of his bracelets.
“So you can joke but I can’t?” Keating enquired.
The floor proposed for them to behave like adults, but this was just unsuitable for Hellmuth. He demanded Tournament Director Jack Effel to come, telling the floor:“I don’t really feel like you are protecting me in this situation.”
Hellmuth and Keating kept their sideshow going for quite awhile. If things seemed to calm down, Hellmuth made just an another comment. In the end Keating yelled out:“OK I’ve had enough”
Hellmuth and Thorpe feel the defeat
Thorpe’s day was spent in Hellmuth’s footprints, but he was sent packing near instantly the moment the players were down to two tables. Next one out was Hellmuth himself, busted by no one else than Keating, the very man he had been pestering.
