Sahamies’ loss was a combination of variance and maybe some tilting. I can’t blame him, anyone could tilt a little after losing million bucks in just one session! But most of the times Sahamies got his money in good but in the end money went to other other way in the table.

F U luck! I just lost few millions!
Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan gained the biggest benefit in Ziigmund’s downfall. Ivey was the biggest winner of the day with huge profit of $1.224.047. Dwan didn’t manage bad either as he left the tables with $968.111 in profit.
Yesterdays up- and downswings are something that I have never seen before. These kind of swings are only possible for degenerate gamblers like Sahamies, Ivey and Dwan. Maybe David Benyamine and Patrik Antonius could come near, but not many more.
After the dust settled, Sahamies left the tables with a huge cut in his bankroll. He broke his own dayloss record, maybe that is something he isn’t proud of, with a $2.063.798! It is somewhat hard to believe that someone can lose so much money at poker tables in just one day. I guess that is something only Ilari Sahamies can do.
I’m sure that Sahamies will bounce back soon. Sickest thing is, he is still up over $688k for the year!
