Chris Karagulleyan won the second WPT event ever held six and a half years ago on first Season of WPT. It took him this long to reach to the final table for second time.

Jesus will need to make some miracles if he plans on winning.

Karagulleyan has almost 2-to-1 chip lead over his nearest rival going into the final table, but I’m sure that many people still thinks he is an underdog against the opposition he is up against.

Second in chips is up and coming young poker phenom Mike “SowersUNCC” Sowers, who recently finished second in the FTOPS XI $1,000 + $60 NL Hold ‘em Second Chance, winning over $221k. Now he is looking forward for adding a live poker tournament achievement to go with his already fine online poker resume.

Maybe the most well known player heading into the final table is Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, who surprisingly is making his first ever appearance in the WPT final. Ferguson boycotted the WPT for two years, but it is still quite surprising that it took so long for one the greatest ever no limit hold’em tournament players in the world to reach the WPT final. He starts the final in sixth place, but he still has plenty of stack.

Here is the seating and the chip counts of the final table:

Seat 1: Chris “Jesus” Ferguson - 1,565,000
Seat 2: Cornel Andrew Cimpan - 1,740,000
Seat 3: Pat Walsh - 2,200,000
Seat 4: Chris Karagulleyan - 4,080,000
Seat 5: Mike “SowersUNCC” Sowers - 2,405,000
Seat 6: Binh Nguyen - 1,895,000

More details and video interviews of all six finalists can be found from the WPT website.
