Jamie Gold was on top of the poker world in 2006 when he won biggest poker tournament ever held and a first prize of stunning $12 million! Little by little he fade away from the picture and concentrated his focus on playing in charity tournaments.
After the Main Event triumph, Gold signed a deal with Bodog Poker but the cooperation lasted only 6 months and Bodog released Gold from contract in January 2007. After that Gold have not played a lot of competitive poker, but now he is ready to make a comeback.

“The best bluffer in the world” is coming back!
Brandon Berndt, Poker Room Manager at ACED, is really happy about the signing of Gold, a former Hollywood talent agent of actors like James Gandolfini and Jimmy Fallon: “We are extremely excited to have Jamie on board, not only because of his obvious value as an ambassador for us within the poker world, but also for the unparalleled enthusiasm, insight, and creativity he brings to the ongoing development of our brand.”
As part of his duties, Gold can be found playing at ACED Poker, which is part of Merge Gaming Network. Gold will also represent the brand at major live poker tournaments.
Merge Gaming Network is currently substantially smaller network compared to giants like PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. The network is open for customers from the United States, except from Kentucky. At least one thing is bigger at Merge Gaming Network: the Bad Beat Jackpot of the network is currently at astounding $1.2 million!
