Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies had a great tournament in Helsinki Freezeout a while ago, finishing second for €125k. Still, he couldn’t be totally happy about his efforts in the final table, considering how he ended the tournament.
Now Ilari has written in his new english blog about the event. Apparently he drank three bottles of wine, some vodka shots and other drinks during the day and when it was time for heads-up he was totally wasted! Suddenly he decided to leave the table and went to men’s room without giving any notice, and when he came back a part of his chipstack was blinded out.

Ilari had a few too many drinks in the final table.
Of course he got angry and decided to went all-in in every hand. Even if that wasn’t enough, he started showing his cards before his opponent hasn’t made the decision. Next day he was totally embarrassed and had to apologize everybody in the casino for his rude behavior.
Sahamies also writes about his huge coinflips at Full Tilt Poker against his good friend Patrik Antonius and a played called “Mafews”. Sahamies lost both of these flips for $200k:
A three-way flip between Antonius, Sahamies and Mafews for $195k.
Another flip between Ilari and Patrik, a $269k pot.
Sahamies got his chat banned once again at Full Tilt. Too bad, because his chat is normally hilarious. Obviously FTP don’t think the same.
