Gus Hansen pissed off about Galfond’s antics

There was a lot of great action today at the high stakes tables, with many regular faces sitting around the felt. Gus Hansen was playing also in many tables, one of them being a PLO head-up table where he was playing against Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond.

Then, after battling a while, this hand happened (sorry about the converter not working properly):

The hand seems like a quite standard, though huge hand, but the chatting during and after the hand really pissed Hansen off:

Immediately Hansen stopped playing Galfond in the heads-up table and this is the conversation that followed:

Gus Hansen: you might as well leave not playing you
Gus Hansen: is there any chance you will leave and let somebody else
play
Gus Hansen: just tired of his remarks
OMGClayAiken: i cant tell
OMGClayAiken: if you’re joking
OMGClayAiken: or not
Gus Hansen: come on you have to be smarter than George Bush
OMGClayAiken: my remarks?
Gus Hansen: when did I ever joke when I asked you to leave
OMGClayAiken: i just mean
OMGClayAiken: what remarks are you tired of
Gus Hansen: the nice hadn remark to Lars Luzak got you
Gus Hansen: first nice hand today
OMGClayAiken: did you leave
OMGClayAiken: i didnt think you cared about that kinda stuff
OMGClayAiken: you talk after every hand you win
OMGClayAiken: i thought it was just funny to you
Gus Hansen: not when your only purpose is to steam me up

This is something that isn’t often seen at the high stakes. People who plays at the high stakes tables rarely says anything about the hands. Obviously losing a big pot angered Hansen so much that a seemingly meaningless “nh” made him steam.

Gus is not happy (I guess in this picture he is) anymore.
