Most of Dwan’s winnings came from a Full Tilt team member Patrik Antonius, who had a huge losing day. Everything seemed to go wrong for Antonius and eventually he ended up losing over $945k! Nobody came even close to his numbers, as the second biggest loser was a compatriot of Antonius, Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies, who lost around $137k.
Dwan, Phil Ivey and Antonius played together for a while in “GusHeaven”, a $500/$1000 no limit hold’em table at Full Tilt Poker. At first, Phil Ivey was a table captain and build his stack to around $500k. Ivey eventually left with around $300k of profit and left Antonius and Dwan to battle against each other.
Antonius lost his money in just 974 hands, so he lost almost $1000 in every hand! Phil Ivey on the other hand played 321 hands, so he won almost $1k in each of his hand!
Here are the biggest hands of the session from the highstakes database.
With the winnings yesterday, Phil Ivey broke a $7 million mark for the money earned this year! He has won approximately $6 million after his return to the high stakes tables at Full Tilt Poker later on in the summer.
