The last few days in the high stakes world of online poker has seen a lot of six-max no limit hold’em action at Betfair Poker, but not that much action at Full Tilt Poker.
Still, we saw one big session at Full Tilt Poker, in which Patrik Antonius won a monster $440k at RailHeaven. Ziigmund was the second biggest winner with around $200k in winnings. LarsLuzak was by far the biggest loser with around $550k dropped!!
To be honest, the big loss of Kelopuro isn’t that surprising because of all the monster bluffs he was making! Here is one pot where he tries to bluff Sahamies away from the pot, but fails miserably:

Lars did win $50k off whitelime though by hitting a straight on the turn:

Gus Hansen hits a perfect turn against Ziigmund:

At Betfair there has been a fair bit of action with billthegree the biggest loser with over $150k dropped.
TSTS overbets the pot on the turn to take down a nice pot (click the picture to see it bigger):
IAreBaboon makes a fantastic call on the river for his whole stack:
There are also rumours that Matt Hawrilenko is on a huge downswing at the moment. He apparently lost around $700k to Phil Ivey a couple of days ago and I have seen him lose notable sums to other players. I am beginning to wonder whether the downswing has started to affect his game and that maybe he should drop down the limits, as he is certainly not playing aggressively enough.
