Mike Matusow started the day with a chip lead, but in the end he slipped to the 6th place and will start the final as a short stack of the table. The Full Tilt Poker team member Matusow has a stack of 816,000 chips, about 20 big blinds, so he needs to make some moves early if he wants to reach the top spot.

The final table have three players with experience for being in a WPT final table before. Pham (six times, no wins), Matusow (4 times, no wins) and Jonathan Little (3 finals, 1 win) have all been in this situation before. For the other three, upcoming final table will be the first time in the televised WPT final.

Jonathan Jaffe (picture) took part in the biggest pot of the tournament when he knocked out Dimitri Haskaris. After a raise and re-raise preflop, players saw a flop of K-T-9. The flop pleased both of them as a raising war started that ended Haskaris all in and to pot worth of 3.7 million chips! When the cards turned up, Haskaris had a set of tens, but Jaffe had flopped the nut straight and was a clear favorite to win the pot! Two blanks hit the board on the turn and the river and Haskaris was out in 8th place, as Jaffe jumped in a huge chip lead!

Here is the seating and chip counts of the final table:

Seat 1: David “The Dragon” Pham - 2,038,000
