Hevad “RaiNKhAN” Khan wins the Caesars Palace Classic and million dollars!

Khan, the 6th place finisher of the last years Main Event of WSOP, started the last day as a chip leader and built his lead going in to the final table. When the final table of ten started, Khan had a stack worth of 8,675,000, when Daniel Schreiber in second place had stack of 3,625,000. It looked like Khan would just walk to the victory with his huge chip lead.
But eventually it didn’t happen so easily for Khan. When the heads-up against Michael Kamran started, chip amounts were almost event looking like this:
Hevad Khan: 17,150,000
Michael Kamran: 14,075,000
Kamran managed to take the lead away from Khan as the stack of Hevad dropped to about 9 million chips at one point. Khan fought back and doubled up when his jacks proved to be better than ace-ten of Kamran.
In the last hand of the tournament, players went all in on the flop J-9-2, Khan having a top pair with J-6 against a gutshot and an over card of king-ten. The turn of 7 gave Kamran some more outs, but the river of ten didn’t help him enough and Khan was crowned the champion!
Hevad Khan became famous of his celebrations at the Main Event of WSOP last year, but after that tournament he has calmed down his celebrations for not upsetting his opponents. After the victory was sealed he showed some of the old Khan celebrations, when he let out a loud scream and picked up his chair for the celebration. Well, who wouldn’t go crazy after winning a million dollars!
