High Stakes News told in a previous article this week about a pot worth 499k that was played between Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Team Full Tilt professional Peter W. Jepsen and which Jepsen won.

Now Dwan has made public his suspicions that it wasn’t indeed Jepsen using his account but a Finnish high stakes regular Sami “Lars Luzak” Kelopuro! Dwan points that Jepsen hasn’t got much history playing the highest stakes online and that Jepsen normally plays much lower stakes like $25/$50 compared to the $500/$1000 stakes! Also both Jepsen and Kelopuro were at the time at Cannes playing the Partouche Poker Tour event.

Dwan also points out the fact that other players like Hac “Trex313″ Dang and Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond thought that it was in fact Kelopuro playing. Still it is almost impossible to prove and Dwan himself knows it.

Jepsen himself told in the interview of a Norwegian magazine that this session was a “shot” to higher stakes. It makes people wonder why make a shot to the biggest game online against extremely tough lineup like Dwan, H. Dang, Galfond and Ivey!
