Big games at Betfair - $250/500 NL Texas

We don’t see that many big cash games at Betfair, but friday was an exception. Two heads up NLH $250/500 matches took place resulting in the player known as Contentolo1 loosing $105k in total, $100k to promiseland and another $5k to Len69.
After the Len69 – Contentolo1 game there was a lot of chat in the chat box of how Len69 was down $300k for the week and Contentolo1 was stuck for over $100k.
The first big hand from the Len69 match came when Contentolo1 limped on the button with A10-offsuit and Len69 raised to $2k with Q10 of spades. The flop came A87 with two diamonds and Len69 bet $3k into a $4k pot, which was called by his opponent. The turn was the harmless 2 of clubs and Len69 again bets 90% of the pot and is quickly called by the Italian. The river pairs the board with the 7 of hearts, and Len69 shoots a third bullet, only to be called by Contentolo1:

Len69 then added on $40k confidently and continued to play. It paid off as he got his opponent all in on the turn with 68 of hearts, holding a flush. Contentolo1 reluctantly called with 23hearts and Len69 was up for $5k!

Let’s hope to see more action at Betfair! It’s a lot faster and, personally, I prefer the software to Full Tilt Poker!
