Steve Sung - the best and the worst?

Steve “SteveSung” Sung has been very familiar name lately at the big games at Full Tilt Poker. Some days he seems unbeatable - on the others he seems like the biggest fish at the tables.
Earlier he told in his blog that he had lost $2.000.000 during the WSOP. The players that he staked ended up with bad results and on top of that his own game was a total mess.
He made a plan to pick up those losses quickly at Full Tilt Poker.
Now he had been running thru some sick sessions. Week ago he won over $800.000 in just one day playing the big H.O.R.S.E. and Omaha hi-low games.
Then four days later he dropped almost $700.000 - doing also lots of coinflips (and losing horribly). Then the next two days he came back with winnings worth $450.000.. only to lose almost $600.000 the next day.
He is still up almost $450.000 for July - but his game seems to have some huge swings… somehow reminds me of Gus Hansen. What do you think - is he a great player?
