High stakes poker is coming BACK!

After hearing from a lot of ears that the absolute perfectly best poker show High Stakes Poker was about to be shut down, I am really happy to be writing this. Maybe a bit late, and maybe most of you guys have already heard the story but I’m gonna post it anyway.

Anyway, there was this guy claiming that he worked at GSN who said that there isn’t gonna be a next season of HSP. This rumour has now been demented by the TV network. There will be a SEASON FIVE!

I think I talk for everybody reading this or having the slightest interest in poker that we are very very pleased to hear those fabulous news.

I mean, there is now Poker After Dark -The cash game, but its just not the same as the “original” high stakes show.

It can also be the fact that I miss Sammy Farha so much Can there be a guy at the age of 50 acting cooler than him? He brought me my favourite tv hand of all time this last season. I know alot of people will not agree with me here since it doesn’t involve crazy turnarounds and underdog hands winning. It just makes me smile, and I think that is what poker should be all about.

Man, Sammy makes the otherwise so aggressive Jamie Gold a hard time in this hand. Feels like Jamie is begging for mercy!
