Nenad Medic is the best PLH player in Vegas right now. This Serbian 27 year old guy was the winner of the first World Series of Poker event. The big win did not only give him the first bracelet of the 2008 edition, but also a bunch of 100-dollar bills worth $794k. A great sum to add to his 20 cashes worth over $3.6M. Also winning your first bracelet, as for Nenad must be a great feeling.

-Nenad Medic who has also played at Full Tilts big tables
Finishing second was Full Tilt player Andy Bloch receiving $488k leaving Kathy Liebert in 3rd place, and my personal favourite mike Sexton in 4th place.
Big congrats to all of you!
As you all probably know by now I am Swedish, so I just felt that I had to talk about the 3rd event for a bit, being a bit patriotic. This is just like the first event a PLH tournament, this time with a bit more shy buy-in of $1,500. Anyway the point I wanted to get to was that we have a Swedish player second in chips - almost the chipleader! Philip Yeh is holding 143,000 in tournament while the chipleader Robert Workman has 146.800 and the 3rd “only” with 123.600 none other than Full Tilt Pro David Singer.
GO SWEDEN!!
Now to something totally different. As the subject of this post said, Poker is going green!!
And Im not talking about just the color of the table, we know that has always been green. Im also talking about the poker world introducing very environmental tables. It consists of 98% eko-friendly material. What a wonderful idea to make a stand in something good and showing that poker is not just a game for the greedy rich people (as many seems to think). Poker players don’t just care about the cashes( almost!)!!
The tables are called “Groan tables”, and has been presented during this WSOP which is of course is the absolute best possible place to show them off. I hope that all of the casinos over the US and the rest of the world will be using those tables soon. And Im pretty sure that they will. Why shouldn’t they use this method to get more players to choose your casino?
