About Nebuchads big sports bet

I have been writing earlier about Jonas ”Nebuchad” Danielssons big goal for the first 5-6 months this year. The story leaking out to media was that he should win $1,000,000 each and every month making a total profit of $5-6.000.000.
The big deal was that he would bet those money, ALL OF THOSE MONEY onto one game in sportsbook. Our friend Jonas didn’t totally stick to that plan. Here is a recap from from what I wrote earlier:
”Our Swedish online high stakes poker pro Jonas “Nebuchad” Danielsson claims that his plans for 2008 was to win $1,000,000 per month the first 5 months. When he realized he wouldn’t accomplish this he made a new goal of winning $2.5M before the end of May. Lets see if he can make this goal.
That might be spectacular but the really spectacular thing is that he wants to bet it all in one single game giving him around 2X the money.
Now he has a new problem finding a gambling company that willing accept the bet, but he has a plan B to chop the bet and play thru many different companies.”
Well, Nebuchad now clears up the things on his own blog about what is really going on, so here’s the deal:
He ended up at a total profit of $600k(!!), only making somewhere around 10-15 percent of his goal. With his own permission on the blog I will have to call this story a FIASKO. Sorry Jonas!
Anyways, Jonas planned to play the big Champions League game but when he logged on to Ladbrokes he got a new minor problem slammed to his face. He had a limit of “only” $100.000!
I hope to hear some more about this bet because come on Jonas, talking loud about plans like this and then making them sipper out in the ocean is not very good PR.
