Annette Obrestad is only 19-years old girl and winner of over $2.000.000! By winning the World Series of Poker Europe main event she became the youngest WSOP-winner ever (and first female to win WSOP main event, all-time biggest female WSOP money-winner and record holder for largest cash for a female player).
Starting from zero
Being underaged Annette started her carreer by playing freerolls - her parents were strict about not giving her the possibility to deposit via their credit cards. She made a great breakthrough by winning a huge freeroll at UltimateBet, giving her enough bankroll to move to real money games.
At first she made great results by playing ABC-poker but she wanted to play higher and higher. But she stumbled at higher levels, opponents were tougher and they could easily read her playing style. So she started to change her style - playing more hands and playing more aggressively.
Online-Queen
It didn’t take her too long to have the skills needed to take on the world. She is now know as one of the top-winners in huge online tournaments at PokerStars, Full Tilt and UltimateBet - recently she won the $500.000 quaranteed tournament at Full Tilt.
She is also known for winning a sit-n-go tournament with 180 players without even looking at her cards!
